Northern Districts have left Dunedin with a share of the points in The Ford Trophy after their round eight encounter was abandoned without a ball being bowled at the University of Otago Oval.

Attention now turns to Whangarei's Cobham Oval, where Northern Districts will face competition leaders Auckland Aces this Wednesday.
