Splice Construction Northern Districts Under 19 Men's have finished sixth at the National Tournament at Lincoln.

There wasn't much joy to be had for ND in the one-day competition, as they lost all five matches against the other Major Associations.

The competition switched to the Twenty20 format for the last two days and, ND would get some joy in the final game, earning their sole victory of the tournament as they beat Central Districts Under 19's by 28 runs.

There were several individual performances of note, with Oli White (2), Fergus Lellman, Ben Pomare and Luke Trigg registering half-centuries in the one-day competition, with David Hancock and Michael Lanting both bagging a four-wicket-haul.

Thomas Bradburn was the pick of the players in the T20 competition, scoring two half-centuries in three innings, while Hancock recorded another four-wicket-haul, producing quality figures of 4-9 as he finished second-highest wicket-taker in the competition with 12.
