ND reps win big NZ Cricket Awards

Representatives of the Northern Districts region have won five awards at the ANZ New Zealand Cricket Awards.
Kane Williamson was the big winner, receiving the Sir Richard Hadlee Medal for Player of the Year, as well as the ANZ International Test Player of the Year and the Redpath Cup for First-class Batting.
The New Zealand captain lead the BLACKCAPS admirably across all three formats and particularly shone with the bat in the Test arena where he scored 801 runs over the season at an average of 89.

Trent Boult helped ND make it a clean-sweep of first-class trophies by picking-up the Winsor Cup for First-class bowling.
Bay of Plenty Cricket's Rebecca Yee was a winner in the community space after taking out the Cricket Development Officer of the Year in recognition of her hard work within the region.
