ND acknowledges volunteers for National Volunteer Week
Published on 19 Jun 2019
It's National Volunteer Week and the theme is "Whiria te tangata - weaving people together". Every year thousands of volunteers across New Zealand dedicate time for the good of grassroots sport and local communities. Our regions heartbeat is powered by this passion and commitment, so Northern Districts would like to take the time to recognise all of our amazing volunteers both on and off the field that provide and drive exceptional delivery of our game.
Cricket brings people together and it is thanks to all the energetic volunteers that cricket is alive and well within our local communities. Northern Districts are very grateful for all contributions to lead, administer and deliver the game.
Northern Districts Cricket and all involved across the game, would like to take the opportunity to say "tēnā koutou - thank you", to all volunteers for the passion, time and energy which ensures positive cricketing experiences for all ages and abilities. Volunteers are the heartbeat of our game and our region, and it is with great gratitude, that Northern Districts would like to acknowledge the thousands of people across NDCA, which ensure cricket is a safe and enjoyable environment for all involved.
