Have your say on the development of Seddon Park!
Published on 15 May 2019
It is an exciting time for cricket in the Northern Districts region.
Seddon Park sits within Hamilton's 'West Town Belt' - an expansive 54ha network of parks and gully on the edge of Hamilton's central city.
A draft Masterplan has been prepared to protect and manage this important open space.
It has been developed in consultation with a broad range of stakeholders including mana whenua, relevant regional and central government agencies, stakeholders who lease buildings and land on the WTB as well as local businesses and residents.
The draft West Town Belt Masterplan is now open for public consultation and we would love you to have your say.
This is a significant project that will have a great impact on Northern Districts Cricket. We would appreciate you showing your support for the Seddon proposal, and in particular, for Open Space Projects E & F, which will provide significant enhancements to Seddon Park and help secure the future of Northern Districts Cricket. Consultation closes Sunday, May 26 2019.
