At Northern District Crickets annual awards evening on Friday night, Grant Hall received the The Allan McBride Junior Service to Cricket award.  This is awarded to the person who has devoted a significant part of their life to fostering and administering Junior Cricket.

Grant Hall represents Waikato Valley and more exactly the Tokoroa region.

Grant is your typical "one man band" and has looked after junior cricket for over 15 years.

Grant runs both junior and senior clubs, he takes on the responsibility for funding the club through sponsorship and promotional events.

Grant is also a member of the Waikato Valley Cricket Association's junior advisory Group.

And after doing all this in his spare time he coaches the Forest View School teams.
