Northern Districts Feature New Blood to Cover Injured Players in First Round of Ford Trophy

Northern Districts first up match in the Ford Trophy One Day Competition against Auckland will see a welcome return of Daniel Flynn from a long standing hip injury, but will have to call on new blood to cover other injured players.  Bharat Popli, Tim Seifert, Tony Goodin, James Baker and Henry Cooper are all out for the first round with minor injuries and Joe Walker is recovering from an illness.  With other key players committed to the BlackCaps campaign, James Pamment has called upon Peter Bocock to don the gloves as wicket keeper and Freddy Walker getting the call up to potentially make his debut for the Northern Districts side.
