Northern Districts are able to call on the services of several Test BLACKCAPS for their round six Plunket Shield match against Canterbury in Hamilton.

Daryl Mitchell, Neil Wagner and BJ Watling will return to the Northern Districts (ND) side after the BLACKCAPS Test series victory over India.

Their ability, as well as their experience, will be a big boost as ND chase their first Plunket Shield win of the season.

Mitchell scored a career-best 170 not out earlier in the Plunket Shield season, while Neil Wagner sits third in the wickets charts with 17 to his name.

The other change to the squad sees Joe Walker included as the spin bowler, with Mitchell Santner and Ish Sodhi being called into the BLACKCAPS squad for the tour of Australia.

Round six of the Plunket Shield begins Tuesday, March 10, 10:30am at Seddon Park, Hamilton.
